We’ve started the year brilliantly with a top 5
finish in the UK’s Best Gastropubs. The whole team, and especially
Matthew, deserves a special mention for all their hard work in getting us
there. It’s great to see such a strong creative energy flowing through the
business.
Despite all the awards we believe there is always
room to improve as a team and to keep driving forward. The new lounge and bar
area has been very well received and we’ll be adding some more fresh touches
throughout the year.
With Spring in the air, the menus also change. There is a lighter emphasis on
the ingredients to match the lighter days. It won’t be too long before we start
getting the first rhubarb, local kale and one of our most loved ingredients,
wild garlic.
Our popular ‘Totally Devon’ menu is still fantastic value for money at £25 for
3 delicious courses, lunch or dinner. Providing exceptional value for money
remains something still very close to our hearts.
As always, we are also able to host wedding
receptions, conferences, large parties and breakfast meetings. We will always
go the extra mile to try and cater for specific requirements and to surpass
expectations.
