Belated thanks for our super lunch last Saturday.
Without exception we all had a thoroughly enjoyable time from the moment we arrived. Lovely ambiance, a beautiful room, exquisite food and attentive, albeit unobtrusive, service - perfect!
We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Harriet's cheesecake was a perfect example of inspired disrespect to any preconceived notion of what a cheesecake might be. It is a genuine privilege to have one's palate educated so skilfully.
Stunning. Brilliant. Utterly engaging. Please keep reinventing and pushing the boundaries - it really doesn't get any better than what you are all achieving.

A big thank you to Paul, Joanne & all the staff at the 'Jack in the Green' for making my birthday lunch on Saturday such an amazing day. We had a variety of starters & mains, and it was lovely to hear everybody saying how fantastic it all was. We have had all our 'special' birthdays with you, and look forward to our next visit.

The birthday lunch on Saturday went extremely well. Everyone agreed that the food was first class and the service excellent, always attentive without being intrusive. The extras "with the Compliments of the House" were also much appreciated. As a result the lunch was a happy and memorable occasion for both family and friends.
Please pass on our thanks to the Chef, his assistants, and the bar and dining room staff. Our thanks also to you personally for organising everything so well and for making us feel welcome, right from the start.

On behalf of us all I would like to thank you so very much for yet another wonderful evening at J in the G on Wednesday.
The food was delicious as usual and served up by such friendly and helpful staff which all added to the enjoyment of the evening.
Copious amounts of champagne, wine and beer were consumed and there were a few sore heads on the golf course the following morning I can tell you!
I think the census of opinion amongst us all is to not leave it as long as a year until we all meet up again and so with that in mind you may well be seeing us all again quite soon.

I would just like to say THANK YOU for the wonderful time we had on Sunday for my relative's 80th birthday. Everyone had a great time and would you thank the staff for doing the table and room area up, it looked great. They live in Bournemouth and when they said they would like a party, I said I know just the place!!
Many thanks from all of us for a wonderful evening on Friday – delicious food (as expected!), attentive and efficient service and thank you for putting our party in the big room. One of our members was also very complimentary on the wines. All the awards and accolades you have received over the past 20 years are well deserved – you have a special team so keep up the good work!

On behalf of all the Madge 60th birthday members who visited the jack in the Green on Saturday 16th February I would like to thank you for such a wonderfully prepared, cooked and served meal in your self contained room which was ideal. I was able to thank the staff at the bar and those looking after us, but did not call into the kitchen and Paul had sensibly left when we finally finished. Everyone was so impressed with the occasion.
Thanks to you all and I am sure some of us will be returning before too long.
We had lunch with you yesterday and we had such a great experience I wanted to write an acknowledgement. The service was efficient, friendly and professional and the quality of food outstanding. It was my wife’s first restaurant meal since being aware that she is gluten intolerant and was thrilled that the staff made no fuss, made it easy for her and also that every one of her three courses was superb.
Yesterday's lunch for my mother in law was a great success, largely because of the food and service we received at your restaurant. Not only was the food excellent, so too was the service from your staff - efficient, polite and unobtrucive to the extent that it was widely commented upon.
Please could you thank all concerned because it made her 80th birthday party a resounding success.

Mark and I would like to thank you and your wonderful team at the Jack in the Green for making our wedding reception such a memorable and delicious feast. We wanted to blow our guests away with a truly great meal and we certainly achieved that.

Can I just thank you for a superb meal last night, the food was excellent and the service first rate. Just the job on the way home after two days away on farm visits. No one else on the trip had been to you before and they were all most impressed.
Great special meal yesterday lunchtime, many thanks - my father particularly enjoyed it; we all loved it and appreciated it and the extra-special effort and care you'd put into it for his retirement party (after 53 years as an accountant!).
The wild mushroom soup appetizer was the perfect strength and consistency, and well off-set by the parsnip crisp; the foie gras (such welcomely generous portions!) was cooked exquisitely, and the sauce so delicate and refined, and the sweetbreads (my mother's favourite), another ideal texture and taste complement and contrast; the beef wellington (my father's favourite dish) was sublime: perfectly, prepared, cooked and presented; and the sticky-toffee pudding was a treat, too!
